My Holiday Travel Experience
During the recent holiday, I had the opportunity to travel to a beautiful city in China. I traveled by train, which took about three hours to reach my destination. The journey was tiring, but the excitement of exploring a new place made it all worthwhile.
Upon arrival, I met Mrs. Long, who kindly showed me around the downtown area. We visited several interesting places, including Walmart, Xingning Walking Street, and the Bund. One of the highlights was a drink machine in the street that offered free drinking water. This was a refreshing change from my city, where people often used the water to wash their hands, which would ruin the machines. However, in Nanning, there was a noticeable effort to protect public property, and a little boy was stopped by his mother for wanting to wash his hands with the drinking water, as it was meant for drinking.
Throughout my stay, I noticed the city's efforts to maintain cleanliness and order. This was a stark contrast to my own city, where such practices were less common. I was impressed by the local culture and the respect for public spaces.
In conclusion, my holiday travel experience was both enriching and enjoyable. The friendly locals, the beautiful scenery, and the convenient public facilities made my stay memorable. I look forward to the next time I can visit and explore more about this fascinating city.
